All along, Placido Polanco said he didn't expect to be out more than a few days after suffering a right knee sprain Monday.
Sure enough, Polanco will play today in a minor-league game at the Carpenter Complex before returning to the lineup Sunday.
Phillies manager Charlie Manuel said Polanco will play five or six innings today.
Right now, they're going to look for anybody they feel can help us, but right now, what we got is what we're going to be looking at -Charlie Manuel

It's easy to see why the Phillies refused to part with minor-league phenom Domonic Brown.
The Indians requested the five-tool outfielder in the Cliff Lee deal last summer and the Blue Jays wanted Brown as part of the Roy Halladay deal.
The Phillies made both deals, but held on to Brown.
I’ll do whatever it takes to succeed -Domonic Brown

When you are two-time National League champion, there is little room for non-roster players looking to make the squad.
As a Phillies fan, I am no longer looking hopefully as Ricky Ledee or John Wockenfuss are added to the squad, with past potential or successes leading to a promising Phillies season.
Nope. I am in baseball hog heaven.

Joe Mauer (Twins): He hit for a ridiculous .365 avg. last season, not to mention 28 HRs and 98 RBI and an American League MVP .
He apparently struck out only once in high school.
I didn't even play baseball in high school and I've struck out more than him.
1B: Albert Pujols (St. Louis): The other MVP winner, Pujols just keeps churning out fantastic statistical seasons.

The problem with Joba Chamberlain, in so many ways, isn't the version of him we see in March of 2010.
It is the version of him that we remember from August of 2007.
It is the memory of how dominant, how precocious, how bulletproof he was in his first hours as a major leaguer.
Sometimes, I just have to remember to be myself -Joba Chamberlain
